He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Orona Acosta; his wife Anita B. Acosta; his siblings, Pedro, Nena and Dominga; and his grandsons, Albert Navarrette and Adam Lee Ybarra.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Orona (Curt), Luis Orona, Maricella Adame (Manuel), Crissy Acosta (Jacob), Isidro Acosta Jr. (Chilito), Rochelle Carrasco (Frank) and Michelle Dominguez; his grandchildren, Phillip Adame, Aydan Acosta, Aaliyah Gonzales, JesseJai Gonzales, Alvaro Navarrette (Nena) and Anna Carrasco; his siblings, Socorro Castillo, Mariano Acosta, Tula Zapata, Ramon Montes, Hilda Marquez, Delia Valles and Mague Mendoza; and his close friend Irma Jimenez.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Pecos Funeral Home (607 W 3rd St, Pecos, TX 79772). A rosary was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church (620 E 4th St, Pecos, TX 79772). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1910 Wyoming St, Pecos, TX 79772).
