She was predeceased by: her father Albert Gomez; and her brother Gilbert Gomez. She is survived by: her mother Maria Dawson; her husband Martin G. Villanueva; her children, April Barr (Lorenzo), Leslie Saldana (Alfredo) and Martin Villanueva (Sylvia); and her siblings, Peggy Carrasco, Dan Gomez and Martin Gomez. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Pecos Funeral Home (607 W 3rd St, Pecos, TX 79772). A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church (620 E 4th St, Pecos, TX 79772).
