She was predeceased by: her father Albert Gomez; and her brother Gilbert Gomez. She is survived by: her mother Maria Dawson; her husband Martin G. Villanueva; her children, April Barr (Lorenzo), Leslie Saldana (Alfredo) and Martin Villanueva (Sylvia); and her siblings, Peggy Carrasco, Dan Gomez and Martin Gomez. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
