It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Richard Bowman Sr. of Pennington, Texas, who passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jefferson Bowman, Sr. and Billie Jo Bowman (Alexander); and his wife Mollie Bowman. He is survived by: his sons, James Richard Bowman, Jr. of Huntsville and Jeremy Bowman (Morrell) of Grapeland; his brother William Jefferson Bowman, Jr. (Kathy) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Clay Bowman (Katie) of Palestine, Cheyenne Luce (Hunter) of Pennington and John Bowman of Grapeland; and his great grandchild Wrenley Bowman of Palestine. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.
