He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonardo Gonzales and Marcella Gonzales; his wife Dolores Martinez; his children, Marcella Sifuentes, Gloria Uribas, Jason Gonzales and Lupe Gonzales; and his grandsons, Ernie Pina and Dusty Sifuentes.
He is survived by : his sons, Michael Gonzales (Carmen) of Booker, Jose Gonzales Jr. (Alma) of Perryton and James Gonzales (Pilar) of Corpus Christi, Texas. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
