He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Cosme Ibanez, Mercedes Ibanez, Juan Tamez and Ester Tamez. He is survived by : his pet Farley; his parents, Joel Tamez and Inelba Ibanez of Tamez; his sisters, Maria R. Tamez, Cris Leal (Mario) and Inelba Tamez (Aaron); and his nieces and nephews, Mario Joel, Alejandra, Gabriella, Ava, Ashley and Cesar.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 12:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel. A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (114 W Fay St, Edinburg, TX 78539).
