He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Fikes and Bessie Fikes; his brother Junior Fikes; and his great grandchild Raven Fikes. He is survived by: his wife Joan Franklin; his sons, Ronnie Fikes (Theresa) of Sulphur Springs, Rodney Fikes of Pickton and Russell Fikes of Sulphur Springs; his grandchildren, Angela Fikes (Brandon Haupt), Brittany Fikes, Eryn Fikes, Daden Fikes and Russell Fikes; and his great grandchild Ruben Fikes.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Oaks Funeral Home (500 Hillcrest Dr N, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482).
