He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Hester Canon and Frank Sanders; his wife Billie Sue Sanders; his children, Jack (Sherry Sanders), Terry (Nesi Sanders) and Starla Sanders; his grandchildren, Tonja, Chad, Jason, Sheryl Michael, Cody, Crystal and Dustin; his siblings-in-law, Shirley, Jerry Mowrey, Travis, Wanda Truelock, Donna and Mike Holcomb; and also Billie Sue Truelock. He was also cherished by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and friends.
