He was predeceased by : his parents, David Thompson and Lura Thompson; his wife Floriene Thompson; and his siblings, Bessie, James (Peewee) and Clarence.
He is survived by : his children, David Thompson (Doyce), Mary Ann Weinmann (Heinz), John Sorrell (Vicki) and Scott Sorrell (Ann); his grandchildren, Sandra Luderer, Petra Schumacher, David Thompson (Morgan), Lacey Sorrell, Tiffany Sorrell (Stefanie), Amanda Zaiontz (Mark) and Brittany Marikos (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Luca and McKenzie; and his siblings, LaTrell Haveman and Archie Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
