With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolina J Rivas of Plains, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabriel Juarez and Isabella Juarez; her husband Fermin Rivas; her siblings, Valdemar, Joventina, Lucia, Jovita, Maria and Gloria; and her nephews, Rudy and Julian.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve, Roger and Gerry; her children-in-law, Mirta, Sandy and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Roddy (Christina), Miriam, Elli and Rocco; her great grandchildren, Julianna, Mila, Ava, Hayden and Jael; and her sister Eva.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Ratliff Funeral Homes - Denver City (303 E Broadway St, Denver City, TX 79323). A rosary was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1309 11th St, Plains, TX 79355).
