He is survived by: his children, Patrick James McCaffrey (Michelle) of Altoona, John Gilbert McCaffrey of Champaign, James Owen Morgan McCaffrey Jr. of Plano and Anna Marguerite McCaffrey of Plano, Texas.; his grandchildren, Travis Peterson (Stephanie) of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Maya, Mason McCaffrey of Champaign, Illinois and Elyse McCaffrey of Altoona, Wisconsin; his stepgrandchildren, Jeremy Poirier (Brooke) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Justin Poirier (Courtney) of Appleton, Wisconsin and Janessa Poirier of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Lucia Treanor, Virginia, Lucy Elizabeth Dunne of Lexington, Kentucky, Maryann Knag (Paul) of New Canaan, Connecticut and Thomas Michael Casey McCaffrey (Theresa) of Minneapolis, Minnesota.. He is also survived by five step-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (2700 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023). A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
