It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennifer Hansel Edna Nelson of Plano, Texas, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Alice Keith Nelson and Louis Viers Nelson; and her sister Rebecca Alice Puryear. She is survived by: her siblings, Louis Keith Nelson, Gretchen June Nelson, Michael John Keith Nelson, Erik Louis Nelson and Jessica Margaret Nelson; and her siblings' children, Rodney Puryear, Steven Puryear, Christa Cooper, Sonny Cooper, Emily Nelson, Evan Nelson and Elise Nelson.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Broussard's (2000 Mcfaddin Ave, Beaumont, TX 77701). A burial was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Magnolia Cemetery (2291 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703).
