She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Okun; her parents, Florence Schanker and Herman Schanker; and her brothers, Lewis Schanker and Donald Schanker.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Okun and Heather Klein; her son-in-law Daniel Klein; and her grandsons, Evan and Noah Klein. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
