She was predeceased by : her parents, Bobby Joe and Mary Lou Dunaway (Letney); her son Robert Marcus Odom; and her siblings, Richard Dunaway, Millicent Dunaway, Lana Vaughn (Tommy Vaughn), Thomas Dunaway and Kathy Barecky (James Barecky).

She is survived by : her husband Johnny Carroll of Point Blank, TX; her children, Kayla Hill (Larry Hill) of Trinity, TX, Allison Herron of Point Blank, TX and Brandon Odom of Trinity, TX; her grandchildren, Jorden, Jason, Robert, Cole, Jolene, Kaitlynn, Lucas, Madelynn, Maverick and Layne; and her siblings, Joe Dunaway (Dee) of South Carolina and Lisa Cathey (Danny) of Groveton, TX. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
