It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Parr of Ponder, Texas, born in Pampa, Texas, who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ambrose Gene Parr; her son Jay Parr; her parents, Viola Bullard and Weldon Bullard; and her sisters, Doris Walker, Quannah Smith and Kathryn Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Parr and Sam Parr; her daughters-in-law, Denise Parr and Sunny Parr; her grandchildren, Chris Parr (Joyce), Aaron Parr (Janie), Jordan Parr, Joe Parr, Kara Staton (Andrew), Kobie Parr and Kassie Parr; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bryonna, Kurt, Briann, Iris and Brian; her great great grandchildren, Alice and Thea; and her siblings, Martha Butler, Patricia Weatherall, Rick Bullard and Bill Bullard. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors (2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
