It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Vernon Hanks of Port Arthur, Texas, born in Crowley, Louisiana, who passed away on July 24, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Joseph Richard Hanks Sr. (Terri L. Hanks). He is survived by : his daughter Kristin Payne (Derrick) of Orange; his mother Dorothy Hanks (Schrock) of Crowley, LA; his sisters, Donna Hammersky (David) of Pasadena, TX and Cheryl Javadzadeh (Hammod) of Crowely, LA; his aunt Pasty "Pappie" Lambright of Baytown; his nieces and nephews, Mark Schrock, Jenna Schrock, Matthew Hammersky and Tessa Javadzadeh; and his brother Floyd "Bubba" Guidry (Brenda) of Port Neches.
