He is survived by : his wife Norma Diaz of Port Arthur, Texas; his mother Ethelina Gloria Lopez Trevino of Corpus Christi, Texas; his stepmother Alma G. Caballero of Benavides, Texas; his siblings, Ricardo Oscar Caballero of Corpus Christi, Alberto Trevino III of San Antonio, JoAnna Caballero Lutz of Benavides, Texas, Susie Bee Caballero Lutz of New Braunfels and Eloisa Trevino-Yglecias of San Antonio; his children, Gloria Christina Gutierrez (Mike) of San Antonio, Jason Matthew Caballero (Dinorah) of San Antonio, Patricia Renee Caballero (Joseph Garcia) of Ingleside, Alicia Elvira Caballero of Kingsville and Sarah Danielle Caballero of San Antonio; his stepchildren, Austin Evan Minter of Kingsville, Texas, Justin Lewis Minter of Kingsville, Texas and Nyssa Paulene Minter of Kingsville, Texas; his nephew Todd Caballero of Corpus Christi; and his nieces, Marina Caballero of Corpus Christi and Rayn Bee Lutz of New Braunfels. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.

“I am so sorry to hear of Buddy's passing. He will always be a big part of our memories, the years spent with him are forever in-bedded.
