With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sedonia Marcantel in Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on April 21, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emilie (Otis P. Meaux) and Sedonia; her husband Leo Marcantel; her daughter Janet Andrews; her granddaughter Ashley Auzenne; her great grandchildren, Parrish, Eleanor and Lincoln; and her siblings, Pierre, Alvin, Joseph, Clifford Meaux, Gloria Lacobie and Annette Leboeuf.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Matthew Dockens and Jason Dockens (Kasie); her great grandchildren, Aubrey and Jack; her granddaughters, Adrienne Andrews and Jane Cowley (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Daniel, Nathan and Maddie Cowley; her sister-in-law Margret Meaux; her brother Robert Meaux (Sandra) of Jacksonville; and her caregivers, Audrina and Connie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
