He was predeceased by: his wife Rosa Belle; his parents, Ovide Fontenot and Cesia Fontenot; his daughter Beverly Nixson (Frank "Nick"); and his son-in-law Dennis Holberg.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Fontenot, Debra Holberg, Susan Singleton (Bryan) and Milissa Fontenot. He is also survived by grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home (4841 39th St, Port Arthur, TX 77642). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
