He is survived by : his wife Esperanza Rodriguez Rosas; his children, Alma Francisca Jantes (Miguel Angel), Erika Mayra Jantes Rodriguez (Luis Solis), Juan Rubén Jantes Rodriguez (Anita Hernandez), Martin Jantes Rodriguez (Maria), Jose Transito Jantes Rodriguez (Edith Ramirez Granados) and Angel Guadalupe Jantes Rodriguez; and his siblings, Primitivo Jantes Mendez, Juan Jantes Mendez and Carmen Jantes Mendez. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
