It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ennis Barefield Jr. (Port Lavaca, Texas), who passed away on May 8, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Henrietta Barefield, and Ennis Barefield, Sr.; his son Ennis Barefield, III; his grandson Devonte Barefield; his daughter-in-law Donna Barefield; and his siblings, Adeline Ferrell, Betty Jo Williams, Leslie Ann Stokes, William Barefield and David Barefield.

He is survived by : his sons, Anthony Barefield (Felice), Russell Barefield and David Barefield (Lenobia); and his siblings, Emma Canady (LC), Mary Drake and Albert Lee Barefield. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
