She is survived by: her husband Jose Mendez; and her children, Elizabeth Youcef (Sam) of Houston, TX, Hipolito Mendez, Joselito Mendez (Elvia) of Port Lavaca, TX, Jaime Mendez (Juanita), Marganto Mendez (Rosa), Benito Mendez (Oralia) and Agapito Mendez. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
