He was predeceased by : his parents, Manuel Jimenez Reyes and Hilda Oliva Reyes; his parents-in-law, Jesus Hernandez and Carmen Hernandez; his brothers, Victor Manuel Reyes (Anita) and Hector Reyes (Celia); and his brother-in-law Joseph Bowie.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Lupita Reyes; his daughter Claudia Rodriguez; his son-in-law Max Rodriguez; his granddaughter Marisol Rodriguez; his siblings, Osvaldo Reyes (Elva), Rolando Reyes (Andrea) and Rosa Martha Reyes; and his siblings-in-law, Alex, Andrea Hernandez, Elvira Bowie, Carmen and Jamie Aguilar. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
