It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Belle Cassel (Port Lavaca, Texas), who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mae Belle Cassel to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, O. B. Cassel (Dutch) and Cora Cassel; and her siblings, Patty Sue Crober Garner and Charles Crober. She is survived by : her sister Mary Elizabeth Cassel Guffey. She is also survived by puppy dog; numerous nieces and nephews, along with great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Port Lavaca Church of Christ (808 TX-35, Port Lavaca, TX 77979). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to Calhoun County Animal Shelter or Port Lavaca Church of Christ.
