He was predeceased by : his parents, Mark Albert Phillips Sr. and Viola Ezzell Phillips; his wife Willie Phillips; and his siblings, Joyce Robison and Donnie Wietzel.

He is survived by : his son Bruce Phillips (Carolyn); his grandsons, Brett Phillips (Lauren) and Cory Phillips (Lauren); and his great grandchildren, Keelin, Payten, Falen, Ryann and Rylee.
