He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gilbert and Nona Harshbarger McGuire. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his sister Linda (Bill Matthews); his sisters-in-law, Jo Ann McGuire, Diane (Bucky Epps) and Cheryl Marquart; his son Lynn (Pam); his grandchildren, Michael and Ashley; his son David (Judith); his grandchildren, Jacob, George and Olivia; his son Chris (Donna); and his grandson Joshua. He is also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home (123 Newlin St, Port Lavaca, TX 77979). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Port Lavaca Church of Christ (808 TX-35, Port Lavaca, TX 77979). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the SIX Mile Cemetery (345 Royal Rd, Port Lavaca, TX 77979).
