We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2022, at the age of 83, Willie Hernandez Sr. of Port Lavaca, Texas, born in Hallettsville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Felipe Hernandez and Maria Rivera Hernandez; his daughter Susie Hernandez; his grandson Eric Hernandez; and his siblings, George Hernandez, Santos Hernandez, Paula Hernandez and Eduarda Menchaca.

He is survived by : his wife Josie A. Hernandez; his sons, Willie Hernandez, Jr., Chris Hernandez and Jerry Hernandez; his sisters, Dominga Hernandez and Dolores De Los Santos; and his grandchildren, Brandon Hernandez, Zayda Hernandez, Shawn Hernandez, Corey Hernandez, Derek Hernandez, Cassie Pena, Jeremiah Hernandez, Jr., Alexis Hernandez and Zamariah Hernandez.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, 415 W. Austin St., Port Lavaca, Texas 77979.
