She was predeceased by: her husband Courtney G. McKeever; and her daughter Rebecca G. McKeever. She is survived by: her son Wayne Gunter; her grandchildren, Laura and Paul; her sons, Weldon L. Gunter of Port Neches and Ronald G. Gunter of Onalaska; her grandchildren, Stacy, Eric and Holly; her son Richard W. McKeever; her daughter-in-law Carol of Nederland; her grandchildren, Denise and Brian; her daughters, Che', April and Courtney; her sister Barbara Thompson of Silsbee; Shawn, Chad, Jeremy and Eric.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Melancon Levingston Funeral Home (1605 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Oak Bluff Memorial Park (618 Block St, Port Neches, TX 77651).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas, https://humanesocietyofsoutheasttexas.org, for the many animals that need help.
