Thomas Spencer Cavender Jr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Spencer Cavender Jr. (Port Neches, Texas), born in Alice, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cavender and Blanche Cavender; and his brother Fred Frank. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his daughters, Laura Herrington (Ryan), Wendy Evans (Jeremy) and Amanda Schram (Kevin); his grandchildren, Zoe, Emily Lewis, Avery, Kaely, Maggie, Lila Evans, Logan, Ella and Brett Schram; and his brother George.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1900 Magnolia Ave, Port Neches, TX 77651). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

To honor Buddy's life, we encourage donations to First Baptist Church, Port Neches, Operation Christmas Child, or flowers for the family to remember his love of gardening and life in agriculture.
