She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Norman Wayne Alston; her parents, Mary Virginia Bishop and Edward John Pandella; her brother Richard Kirk Pandella; her children, Elizabeth Alston Higginbotham (Doug) of Laurel, Mississippi and Michael Kirk Alston (Lynnette) of Chattanooga, Tennessee.; her grandchildren, Phillip Higginbotham (Jennifer), Gregory Higginbotham, Emily Higginbotham Wu (Eddie), Anna Alston Taylor (Graham), John Alston and Mary Abby Alston; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Stella Higginbotham, Pheobe Lewis, Evelyn Pandella, Ezra, Everest and Eden Wu; and her granddaughter-in-law Ashley Higginbotham.
