He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Austin Caldwell and Thelma Maines Caldwell; and his son Larry James Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Sue Hoot Caldwell; his son Tom Caldwell (Susan); his grandchildren, Austin Caldwell (Noemi), Jesse Caldwell (Anna), Seth Caldwell (Emily), Sean Caldwell and Richard Brandt (Traci); and his great grandchildren, Jalen Brandt, Brooklynn Brandt, Vivian Caldwell, Ruth Caldwell and Janice Arias. He is also survived by numerous nieces nephews, other relatives, and friends.
