We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2021, at the age of 77, Gary Patrick Day of Portland, Texas, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Cleo Doreen McGrew and Otis Edward Day; his wife Nancy of Portland; his son James (Terri) of Hutto; his brother Mark Day (Vicki) of Austin; and his former life partner Connie. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Permian Basin Rehabilitation Center and/or Operation Finally Home, a program providing mortgage-free homes to wounded, ill or disabled veterans.
