It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Curlee of Portland, Texas, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Curlee to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Bass and Gem Bass; and her son Jay Curlee. She is survived by : her husband Tom; her daughter Lisa Williams; her grandchildren, Lauren Lambert, Rebecca Saunders (James), Joshua Lambert (Sarah) and Rachel Snodgrass (Rance); and her sister Peggy Cox (Bob). She is also survived by In-Laws, nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

“We loved Nancy as a neighbor and a friend. When our daughter was little, Chloe used to beg to go see Nancy at what she called "Nancy's Doll House". She always came home with treats and stories to tell. At first glance, I thought Nancy a bit prim, but I learned that she had an amazing sense of humor. She relished when people took her decorative treats as real. She loved her family deeply and cared for others as family. She was a light, both warm and guiding. She is truly missed.”
