He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell William Gigstead and Esther Marie Paulsen Gigstead; and also Esther Marie Paulsen Farr. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Gigstead; his children, Darrell Norman Gigstead, Deborah Ann Bishop, Cynthia Lynn Bellows (Paul) and Norma Jean Stokes; his grandchildren, Deanna Marie Schulte (Randy), Jennifer Kay Williams (Marty), Melissa Elaine Kaulfus (Jonthan), Stephanie Janet Ryals (Kenneth), Paul Wellington Bellows II, Jamie Lynn Hernandez (Josh), Timothy Alan Bellows, Shelly Jean Garcia (Juno) and Andrea Jane Hovda (Haedan); and his brother William Seffel of Las Vegas, NV.. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Winsteads' Funeral Home (500 Wildcat Dr, Portland, TX 78374). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Palms Memorial Gardens (4335 Co Rd 3567, Taft, TX 78390).
