Elaine Brown Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Brown of Poteet, Texas, who passed away on August 27, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Brown and Pauline Brown; and her brothers, Joe C. and Roy C. Brown. She is survived by: her daughters, Tina McGuire (Shawn), Priscilla Aldana and Laurie Aldana (Henry Garzes); her grandchildren, Chelsea Aldana, Anthony Romero, Ian McGuire, Dray Baber, Zoe Baber, Izabella Binienda and Marinah Garzes; her great grandchildren, Annalise McGuire and Serenity Romero; and her siblings, Irene Romo and Robert Brown (Hilaria). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless life long friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home (118 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064). A rosary will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church (274 Avenue H, Poteet, TX 78065). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at the Brown Cemetery (169 Olivares Rd, Poteet, TX 78065).
