He was predeceased by : his parents, Joel Franklin Clement and Gladys Cornelia Clement; his wife Jarita Louise Clement (Henderson); his sons, Joel and Ronald Clement (Ronnie); and his grandson Shaun Clement.

He is survived by : his brother Tommy Franklin Clement (Fran) of Montgomery, Alabama; his son Terry Clement (Darie) of Pottsboro, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven, Stacie, Kevin and Julie. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
