She was predeceased by: her brother Lee Hersey of Pottsboro, TX.. She is survived by: her brothers, Cliff Hersey of Lancaster, TX and Rick Hersey of Las Vegas, NV.; her children, Francine Thompson (Johnny) of Calera, OK, Suzette Smith (Johnny) of Denison, TX and Woody Tignor (Sherri) of Greenville, TX.; and her grandchildren, Clay Tignor of Lincoln, UK, Joshua Tignor of Richmond, VA, Alex Tignor of Colorado Springs, CO, Dylan Smith, Allyson Wideman of Fort Worth, TX, Terra Phillips of Calera, OK and JC Thompson of Calera, OK. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials be made in her name to Meals on Wheels of Texoma or Denison Animal Welfare Group, two causes she supported with her modest income.
