He is survived by: his children, Robin Towery (David), Melanie Qualls (Kenneth) and Randy Short (Teresa); his grandchildren, Jessica Qualls, Kristina Schmidt, Christopher Towery, Blake Towery, Lexi Puri and Ryan Short; his great grandchildren, Anna Towery, Jackson Towery, Emily Towery, Phillip Towery, Izabel Schmidt, Amara Towery and Austin Towery; his wife Clydene Gillum of Collinsville; and his sisters, Donna Towery and Linda Cook.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Pottsboro Church of Christ, 522 FM 120, Pottsboro, Texas 75076.
