She was predeceased by : her parents, Pablo Varela and Eulalia Varela (Samaniego); and her grandchildren, Robert and Shania. She is survived by : her children, Julia Muniz of Las Cruces, NM, Ramon Muniz of Dumas, TX, Matilda Muniz of Pecos, TX, Alejandro Muniz of Blackwell, OK and Armando Muniz of Mexico. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
