He is survived by: his wife Vickie Darlene Davis of Princeton, Texas; his children, Maxey Dowell Davis, Jr., Joshua Dowell Davis (Robin) of Wylie, Texas and Stephanie Dawn Davis of Princeton, Texas; his grandchildren, Madison, Lucas Davis, Dani Stewart, Jessie Davis, Keith Davis and Sam Davis; and his siblings, Betty Grimes, Carol Warden, Patsy Bates, Elton Davis, Bobby Davis, Ronnie Davis and Alvin Davis.
