She was predeceased by: her parents, Taj Din and Marium Taj Din; and her siblings, Naseem Victor, Marcilin Fiaz and Parvaiz Taj Din.

She is survived by: her husband Shafqat Paul of Princeton, Texas; her children, Nauman Shafqat, Sehrish Shafqat and Sonia Masih; her grandchildren, Ethan, Karen, Isaiah, Isabella and Myles; and her sister Shamim Clifton.
