It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Boerner of Proctor, Texas, born in Comfort, Texas, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Boerner and Edna Boerner; his son Douglas Richard Boerner; and his siblings, Pasty Nichols, Charles Boerner, Alvin W. Boerner and David Boerner.

He is survived by : his son Walter Leon Boerner (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Alicia Boerner, Shelby Boerner Evans and Dwayne Boerner; his great grandchildren, Ava Borst, Chad Evans, Jr. and Earline Boerner; and his siblings, Joyce B. Mull and Donald Boerner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
