He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Sustaita and Paula Sustaita. He is survived by: his wife Irene Garcia Sustayta; his children, Rogelio Sustayta (Cindy), Esteban Sustayta, Jr. (Julie), Griselda Torres (Carlos), Irma Sustayta and Belinda Garcia (Avelardo); and his siblings, Cruz Sustaita and Rebecca Cantu (Horacio). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
