He is survived by : his wife Charlene Hopkins of Quanah; his children, Jerry Hopkins of Brady, Montana, Cathy Johnson of Iowa Park and Spring Bursey of Quanah; his brothers, Delmer Thad Hopkins, Jr. of Fort Worth and Larry Dean Hopkins of Hermleigh, Texas; his grandchildren, Jody Campsey of Iowa Park, Chloe Johnson of Kokomo and Daicia Hobson of Iola, Texas; and his great grandchild Hagen Hobson.
