He was predeceased by : his parents, Horton Jowers and Dora Jowers (Belcher); his siblings, Barbara Landers and Lester Jowers; and his nephew Jason Jowers.

He is survived by : his wife Sharon Brandon of Quanah; his brothers, Earl Jowers (Kathy) of Quanah and Tony Jowers (Carla) of Brownwood; his daughter Debbie Riddle of Arlington; his grandson Zack Riddle; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Jowers and Brenda Carpenter of Quanah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
