He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Felix Rico and Marcelina Rico (Vasquez); his wife Olivia Rico; and his children, Ralph Rico (Adriana) of Marina Valley, Felix Rico (Yvette) of Indio, Rey Rico of Indio, California, Yolanda Garcia (Andrew) of Chula Vista, Rosabelle Rueda (Rene) of McKinney and Isabel Westphal (Mike) of Plano. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
