She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, George Doggett and Nellie Rushings Doggett; her husband Clinton Gossett; her sons, Jim Gossett of Wichita Falls, Mike Gossett of Ruidoso and Buddy Gossett of Quanah; and her siblings, Mary Simon of New Braunfels, Betty Johnston of Fort Worth and George Doggett, Jr. of El Paso. She was also cherished by 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be made to American Cancer Society, Wounded Warriors, American Heart Association, or Multiple Sclerosis Society.
