With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sterling Roddy Clark Sr. of Quanah, Texas, who passed away on February 21, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bill Clark and Gert Clark; his wife Gwendolyn; his daughter Barbara Gilliam; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Clark; and his siblings, Sidney, Wayne, Bill Ray, Gerald, JoAnn, Doris Nell and Lorrane Mayer.

He is survived by : his son Sterling Roddy Clark, Jr. of Chillicothe; his son-in-law Teddy Gilliam of Quanah; and his grandchildren, Brandy Mettes (Rob) of Red Lodge, Montana, James Clark of Amarillo, Justin Gilliam (Sallie) of Quanah, Joe Gilliam (Cari) of Princeton, Garrett Gilliam (Whitney) of Dalhart, Kati Sherman (Ben) of Quanah and Kyle Gilliam (Elissa) of Washington, DC. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Hardeman County 4-H or the American Cancer Society.
