He was predeceased by: his fiancée Valeria Brentni Watford; his grandmother Dorothy Stevens; and his cousin Autumn Hagood. He is survived by: his parents, Carrie Rosemary Lewis and James Edward Lewis Jr.; his siblings, Benjamin Hagood (Syd), David Hagood (Jordan), Geoffrey Lewis (Tina), Morgan Quick (Matt), Annabell Quick, Marleigh Duncan, Stella Duncan, Deedee Weaver (Bo) and Allie Watts; his aunts, Martha Everett (Tom) and Kathy Stevens; his uncle David; his cousins, Dustin Hagood, Dalton Hagood, Airik Hagood, Xavier Hagood, Shelby Robinson, Dylan Robinson, Brandon Miller, Steven Miller, Blake Miller, Dakota Miller, Blaine Miller, Hunter Brannon, Kara Simmons, DJ Simmons, William Lewis, Jeff Miller, James Miller (Misty), Jennifer Bush (Jamie) and Lindy Self (David); and his close friend Blake Hill. He is also survived by family members and friends who were touched by his warmth.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Clear Springs Pavilion.
