She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Crafford Cotton and Edith Madoline Powell Cotton. She is survived by : her husband Thomas Swanson; her children, Aaron Potter, Brandon Potter and Stephanie Potter Hall; her grandchildren, Wesley, Brinn, Lauren, Emily, Bryce and Brayden; and her brother Gary Cotton. She is also survived by her family, friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lynch Funeral Service (4238 TX-34, Greenville, TX 75402). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
